We have a client in Bay City with nine (9!) kids. With our cabinets, where there is usually an empty area – we turned the space into drawers. She valued this great use of space. With 11 people in the family, she needed to use every ounce of space available!
Our hand-crafted cabinets can be deeper than pre-fabricated cabinets. Little things like your 12″ plates being able to fit inside your new cabinets are on of the ways you’ll enjoy “getting more”.

The Beginning of Lloyd’s Cabinet Shop

Founded in 1961, Lloyd’s Cabinet Shop was built on a simple principle: give customers more than they expect. Lloyd believed a budget should never mean sacrificing quality, value, or thoughtful design. His ability to deliver more for every customer became the foundation of our “Get More!” Process.

Continuing the Legacy

We are proud to build on Lloyd’s foundation, applying it through modern technologies. Intertwining Computer Aided Design and CNC Manufacturing with handiwork passed down from Lloyd to assemble, paint, stain, and finally install our cabinets. Each cabinet is made custom here in Pinconning by Our Team.

Custom Design & Proposal

We put a great deal of time, creativity, and expertise into this stage to create a design that is both functional and beautiful. Our team prepares floor plans and 3D views so you can clearly visualize your new space before work begins.
We also coordinate with vendors, trade partners, and our in-house install team to prepare accurate tear-out and installation pricing. By making selections up front, we’re able to provide detailed specifications for cabinetry, countertops, backsplash, door styles, electrical, plumbing, tile, lighting, and more.

After the Proposal Review Meeting we will ask what you’d like to do next. Most of the time the next step is to update the design and proposal based on updates discussed during your Proposal Review Meeting.

A Lloyd’s Cabinet Shop representative will visit your home to review the space, understand your style, and discuss your remodel goals. It helps to have any inspiration photos, design examples, or ideas ready to share during the meeting. We’ll take measurements and ask key questions so we can design around your needs and preferences.

Proposal Review Meeting in Our Showroom

We will present your written proposal that explains the details and costs of your project. You will see specific designs as well as a complete floor plan.

The design fee of 2% of the High-End Project Estimate Range for Kitchens (Minimum $750) or Bathrooms (Minimum $325) is non-refundable and will be applied towards your overall project costs when signing with Lloyd’s Cabinet Shop, Inc. The design deposit covers the upfront costs of our design team during the initial stages of your project. We dedicate time to personally work with every one of our customers and welcome the opportunity to grow our family with your business.
